‘Churn’ was an interpretation of a cyclone. Like ‘Maelstrom I’, this was a difficult printing plate to make, in the sense that I was never sure about when and how to decide if it was right, or finished. I kept moving the wet filler around with my hands or shaping areas with plastic modelling tools, until something interesting happened.

The printing plate was made using interior filler and PVA on a standard mount board base.

Unique Print
This image is ‘non-editioned’ and therefore is individually unique. If another print is ever made from the printing plate, it will either be inked differently or an element on the plate will have moved, due to its fragile nature.
