Gravity Fallen was the result of some experiments with pouring liquids. In this case, I covered the prepared plate with carborundum before dripping Hammerite metal paint, raising the board to make it run down the surface. First printings were disappointing, with the paint areas producing stark white lines. To introduce the tones seen here, I used glass paper to roughen the surface and edges of the paint, resulting in much more interesting marks in the final print.
