Colour Fragments I

This image was made from three separate plates, each torn from thin pieces of birch plywood. In print tests, I liked the grain of the wood showing through into the print, so I made sure that his texture was not lost through over-sanding the surface. The final image reminded me of pieces of driftwood, found on many a long beach walk.
