As you can see from the images, Stretch was one of a batch of 15 cm x 15 cm plates made on Birch plywood, using various materials including acrylic gels and carborundum powder. For this plate, I used an old plastic fruit bag, stretching it across the board surface before sticking it down and varnishing. It was a difficult plate to print, because the ink was act to splurge out between the gaps in fibres. However, reducing the amount of ink and pressure on the printing press allowed me to get one or two good images from the plate.
