‘Anomalies’, at The Ropewalk Arts Centre, Barton upon Humber, was my first solo exhibition. I already had a connection with the Ropewalk, because the arts centre was where I began printmaking through drop-in sessions on Wednesday afternoons, starting in 2013. ‘Anomalies’ was a show effectively about chance happenings and mistakes in my printmaking practice, which led to interesting outcomes. The exhibition gave me a chance to show all the facets of my printmaking practice to date; materials, techniques and the wide variety of papers used.
