{"id":3183,"date":"2015-11-21T20:57:56","date_gmt":"2015-11-21T20:57:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sinclairashman.com\/?p=3183"},"modified":"2026-04-16T07:24:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T07:24:28","slug":"fabulous-print-set-from-hot-bed-press","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sinclairashman.com\/?p=3183","title":{"rendered":"Fabulous print set from Hot Bed Press"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier today, I travelled to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-ropewalk.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Ropewalk<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a> to\u00a0collect my personal set of prints, as part of the 20:20 Print Exchange. Organised by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000000;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hotbedpress.org\/exhibitions\/2020-print-exchange\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hot Bed Press<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in Salford,\u00a0the exchange brought together\u00a0the work of print studios and educational establishments in the UK, plus special guests, The Icelandic Printmakers&#8217; Association. In all, 584 artists took part from 41 print workshops, producing a total of 14,600 prints for the exchange.<\/p>\n<p>In their pack, each printmaker receives one of their own set of editioned prints submitted, plus one from each of 19 other practitioners.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sinclairashman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_2371.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3193\" src=\"http:\/\/sinclairashman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_2371-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Fabulous print set from Hot Bed Press\" width=\"940\" height=\"705\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On opening my pack, I saw that the first print was my own. Called &#8216;Surface&#8217;, I had printed it in the print room at the University of Lincoln in the week before the deadline. I love this one (below).
