2018 was my second successive year (out of three in total) at Printfest, the brilliant and well-attended original printmaking festival, based in the attractive and arty town of Ulverston in Cumbria. Each year, around 45 artists are selected through application to attend. For me, it meant a completely stuffed car, full of framed prints, browsers and unframed prints, a toolbox and three nights in a local hotel. It is worth the effort and expense though, because the visitors love their printmaking, are knowledgeable about it, and appreciative of the variety of work on sale.
