The Hub in Sleaford is the largest public gallery complex in Lincolnshire, housing national and International exhibitions in 2022, I was asked to create a show in their downstairs gallery space. By this time, my experiments with Flexures had really taken off, so I decided to feature around eight of them on plinths alongside metallic reliefs and framed prints featuring chine collé. The exhibition’s title was a literal description of the materials and processes I wanted to highlight within the exhibition. The show benefited enormously from the associated printmaking workshop I hosted alongside the exhibition.
